Madden TOTW Week 5 Predictions

Baker Time?

The Team of the Week promotion has been a staple for years in Madden Ultimate Team. The standout performances from the previous week of NFL games get special cards under the Team of the Week (TOTW)promotion. Each TOTW promotion has two “hero,” cards one on offense and defense, that are the highest overalls of the promotion, and also among the highest currently available in Madden. For week 5 TOTW’s offensive hero, we’re expecting it to be someone on the Buccaneers, after their thrilling 38-35 comeback victory over the Seahawks. While it could be Emeka Egbuka after his 163 yard 7 reception outing, there’s another Buccaneer we have our sights on. Quarterback Baker Mayfield, who went 29/33 with two touchdowns and an absurd 379 yards, has a real chance to get the TOTW offensive hero, and that card may be the best quarterback in all of Madden 26.

Last Week’s TOTW

For week 4 TOTWs, the 90 overall players were Falcons receiver Drake London, and Chargers linebacker Tuli Tuipulotu. Drake London’s 6′ 4″ frame automatically makes him one of the most sought after wide receivers, due to how good taller receivers are in Madden 26. There is also a 89 overall Jordan Love card, that is instantly one of the best quarterbacks in Madden 26!

Switch Stick

The switch stick feature has become a staple in Madden and allows users to play defense at a level previously unseen in Madden! Switch Stick is so important due to the ability to switch onto any defender on the field. In past Madden’s a user could only control their user defender on a play. This allowed certain routes to be gamebreaking routes that an offense could revolve around. While you can still do this to an extent, the switch stick feature allows users to take away certain routes manually much easier than prior Madden’s. Once you master the Switch Stick feature, your Madden game will truly level up.
