PL Predict

We may work with designated contract markets platform providers registered with the CFTC (each a “DCM Provider”), to enable eligible users to access event contracts and other prediction market products through our Website and applications (the “PL Predict”) as described in the PM Terms. This Section applies solely to data processed in connection with PL Predict.

Onboarding and Account Information Is Collected Directly by the DCM Provider. To use PL Predict, you must open an account directly with a DCM Provider we have a relationship with. All information collected in connection with account opening and onboarding to satisfy the DCM Provider’s legal, regulatory and eligibility obligations is provided by you directly to, and is collected and processed by, the DCM Provider, and is governed by the privacy policy of that DCM Provider. We do not receive, store, or process this onboarding information, and therefore this Privacy Policy does not apply to the processing of any such data. The DCM Provider is an independent, regulated entity and is responsible for its own collection, use, retention, and disclosure of your information. We encourage you to review the relevant DCM Provider’s privacy policy before using the PL Provider.

Information We Collect and Share in Connection with the PL Predict Services. When you access or use PL Predict we collect the categories of information described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, such as account, usage, device, and technical information, and we may disclose certain of that information to the DCM Provider and its service providers in order to facilitate your access to and use of PL Predict. We may also receive limited information about you from the DCM Provider, such as account status and transaction information, in order to display your activity within our interface, provide customer support, operate and improve PL Predict, and meet our contractual obligations.

Regulatory Matters. Each DCM Provider is regulated by the CFTC and is subject to its own legal and regulatory obligations in connection with PL Predict. Information collected and maintained by the DCM Provider in connection with those obligations is held by the DCM Provider, is governed by the DCM Provider’s privacy policy, and may be retained and disclosed by the DCM Provider as required by applicable law, including after you close your account. We are not responsible for or in control of the DCM Provider’s compliance with these obligations or for its information practices.

How We Use Your Information

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any PII:

2. To present our Website and mobile applications and their contents to you and provide access to the services;

Text Message Communications

If you provide your mobile phone number to Players' Lounge, we may use it to send you transactional and promotional SMS communications in accordance with your consent.

We collect and maintain records of SMS consent, including the phone number provided, date and time of consent, and associated account information, for compliance purposes.

We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for their marketing purposes. SMS messages are delivered through trusted service providers who process data solely on our behalf and in accordance with applicable law. You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying “STOP” to any message.

Accessing and correcting your PII

You may send us an email at the email address at the bottom of this Privacy Policy to request access to, correct or delete any PII that you have provided to us. Deleting certain PII may require closure of your user account. Requests to access, correct, or delete information held by the DCM Provider should be directed to the DCM Provider in accordance with its privacy policy. We may also, in certain circumstances, be required by law to maintain your PII for recordkeeping purposes or if otherwise required by application legal or regulatory obligation. We will honor verified deletion requests where required by applicable law except where we are required or permitted to retain information by applicable law or regulation, or where retention is necessary to complete transactions, exercise or defend legal claims, or comply with our legal obligations. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

If you delete your User Contributions from the Website, copies of your User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or might have been copied or stored by other Website users. Proper access and use of information provided on the Website, including User Contributions, is governed by our terms of use.
