New Battle Pass

A major part of the much anticipated Fortnite Season 3 Chapter 5 release on Friday was the release of a new battle pass! The new battle pass features many brand-new skins alongside brand-new rewards, new locations on the map, and new vehicles! What makes Fortnite so unique is that Fortnite will continue to update their skins, map, vehicles, and locations throughout the season so keep an eye out for updates to the new battle pass!

New Skins

As a part of Season 3 Chapter 5, Fortnite released eight new skins alongside their battle pass. One of the ways you’re able to get these skins is by leveling up the battle pass! As soon as you start the battle pass, you get The Machinist. The second skin, Rust, is unlocked at level 14, followed by Peabody at level 26 and Ringmaster Scarr at level 38. The T-60 Power Armor skin, which is unlocked at level 54, is from the Amazon Prime Series Fallout, continuing the Fortnite tradition of having skins based on popular TV Shows and movies! The last 3 skins, Brite Raider, Megalo Don, and Wastelander Magneto, will take a long time to unlock, with Wastelander Magneto only obtainable via a battle pass challenge in July.

Huge Map Update

As with almost every new Fortnite season and chapter, there is a massive map update that was released yesterday! The new biome Wasteland features, “The wasteland… the possibilities seem as vast as the grains of sand. It's so vast that the “Wasteland Warriors” don’t want to give up control. This band of marauders brings a whole new meaning to the scrappy crew — each one is an automobile expert who’ll tread on any rebellion. In Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 5 Season 3: Wrecked, get in the driver’s seat and bring the Nitro to these vehicular villains! “ This new biome should give the Fortnite map a needed fresh feel to it that new seasons and chapters often provide, ensuring the game doesn't get too repetitive! Another big feature of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, is the addition of the nitro boost.
