The cover of EA Sports NCAA College Football 25 has been highly anticipated for months now. The soon to be released college football game while still without a trailer, has now dropped the first cover, and made sure to leave almost no one out. At the center of the cover is defending national champion, Michigan running back Donovan Edwards, flanked by Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers and two way Colorado star Travis Hunter features a cover that has virtually every school represented with a helmet with their logo across it. It is important to note that this is just the Deluxe Edition cover, and that the standard edition, “main,” cover is still yet to be released!

Shedeur Sanders, the Colorado star quarterback and son of NFL legend and Colorado head coach Deion Sanders was noticeably absent from the Deluxe Edition cover of EA Sports NCAA College Football 25. It has been confirmed that Shedeur will be in the video game, so why was one of college football's brightest stars not on the cover? Fans are speculating this is because he will be featured solo on the main cover of NCAA College Football 25. With Caleb Williams getting drafted with the first pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Shedeur Sanders enters this season as the very early favorite to be the first pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, and should be a pretty safe bet to be featured on at least one of the upcoming EA Sports NCAA College Football 25 covers.
