1. Introduction
At Players’ Lounge, we are committed to fostering a competitive, fun, and fair environment for all users. This Fair Play Policy applies specifically to Head-to-Head (H2H) matches, where two players compete directly against each other with real money on the line. By participating in any H2H match on Players’ Lounge, you agree to comply with this Policy, our Terms of Service (TOS), and any other applicable rules.
2. Prohibited Conduct
2.1 Cheating and Hacking
No Cheating Tools: You may not use unauthorized software or hardware that provides an unfair advantage (e.g., aimbots, wall hacks, map hacks, macros, or scripts).
No Exploits: You may not exploit in-game glitches, errors, or bugs to gain an unfair edge.
No Unauthorized Access: You may not hack or attempt to compromise other users’ accounts or the Players’ Lounge platform.
2.2 Account Sharing and Unauthorized Play
No Third-Party Play: You may not allow others to access your account or play on your behalf in any H2H match.
No Multi-User Collusion: You may not share information or coordinate with others in a manner that undermines fair competition (e.g., intentionally feeding kills, providing inside information to your opponent’s disadvantage).
2.3 Glitches and Exploitative Tactics
Any use of glitches or manipulative tactics to influence the results of a match is strictly forbidden. Violators may forfeit their winnings or have their wager refunded.
3. Player Due Diligence and Trust
Head-to-Head matches on Players’ Lounge are direct competitions between two players, with Players’ Lounge acting as the facilitator. Because you are putting real money on the line against another individual, it is your responsibility to exercise good judgment before accepting or challenging an opponent.
We strongly recommend the following:
Know Your Opponent: Before entering a high-stakes match, take reasonable steps to verify your opponent’s legitimacy. Review their match history, win/loss record, and account standing on the platform.
Verify Identity When Appropriate: For larger wagers, consider using FaceTime, video chat, or another live verification method to confirm you are playing the person you expect. This is especially important if you are unfamiliar with the other player.
Avoid Repeat Matches with Untrusted Players: If you have concerns about another player’s conduct, integrity, or identity, do not continue to play them. Repeatedly engaging in matches with a player you do not trust is done entirely at your own risk.
Report Suspicious Behavior: If something feels off, report it to our support team before continuing to play.
Players’ Lounge facilitates H2H matches but is not a party to the wager between individual players. We provide the platform, enforce our Fair Play Policy, and investigate reported violations. However, Players’ Lounge does not guarantee the conduct of any individual player. By choosing to engage in an H2H match, you accept the inherent risk of competing against another person for money.
If you believe another player has engaged in fraudulent or illegal conduct during an H2H match, you may pursue any legal remedies available to you directly with that individual. Players’ Lounge will cooperate with law enforcement and legal processes as required but is not liable for disputes between players beyond the enforcement of this Policy.
4. Consequences of Violation
Account Suspension or Termination: Any violation of this Policy or our TOS may result in a suspension or permanent ban. Associated funds or winnings may be forfeited.
Investigation Process: Players’ Lounge reserves the right to investigate any suspicious activity. You may be asked to provide evidence (e.g., screenshots, video clips).
Refunds or Losses: Depending on the severity of the violation, wagers may be canceled or voided at our discretion.
Legal and Equitable Remedies: We may pursue legal action, notify relevant authorities, or take other measures to protect our users and platform integrity.
5. Reporting and Enforcement
Confidential Review: We will review all reports confidentially. If we confirm a violation, we may impose penalties without prior notice.
6. Updates and Revisions
Players’ Lounge may update or revise this Fair Play Policy at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a new version of the Policy, which will become effective immediately upon posting (unless otherwise noted). Continued use of Players’ Lounge after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
7. Additional Resources
By participating in any H2H match on Players’ Lounge, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by this Fair Play Policy.
ALL GAMES
VPN / Bot Lobbies: Use of VPNs, bot lobbies, or any method to manipulate matchmaking or gain easier opponents is strictly prohibited. Any related matches may be voided and winnings removed, even if not intentional.
Any use of glitches or manipulative tactics to influence the results of the game is strictly forbidden, and violators may forfeit their winnings or have their bet refunded. Failure to meet these requirements may result in canceled wagers, forfeited funds, or suspension of your account.
Smurfing and Skill Misrepresentation
Smurfing: Creating or using additional accounts at significantly lower skill levels, or otherwise misrepresenting your skill level, to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.
Intentional Skill Underplay: You may not intentionally play below your usual skill level or deliberately lose matches for the purpose of manipulating future wagers or matches.

5. Staking Rules and Fair Play
5.1 Staking Overview
Definition: Staking allows one user (“Staker”) to fund and back another user’s (“Bettor” or “Player”) wager on the Players’ Lounge platform.
Fair Play Commitment: Both the Staker and the Bettor must adhere to this Fair Play Policy and our Terms of Service.
5.2 Bettor Violations
Rule Breach by Bettor: If the Bettor is found to have violated our Fair Play Policy (e.g., cheating, hacking, collusion, or any prohibited conduct), the entire stake may be voided.
Void or Refund: If the Bettor’s wager is voided due to a Fair Play Policy violation, winnings may be reclaimed and the Staker’s entry fee (i.e., stake) may be refunded at Players’ Lounge’s discretion.
Disciplinary Action: The violating Bettor may face additional consequences, including Match forfeiture, account suspension, or permanent ban.
5.3 Staker Violations
Rule Breach by Staker: If a Staker is caught engaging in prohibited conduct (e.g., pressuring the Bettor to cheat, collusion, hacking, match fixing), any related stakes or associated winnings may be voided.
Account Penalties: The Staker’s Account may be suspended, funds may be seized, or the Staker may be permanently banned from the platform, subject to the severity of the violation.
5.4 Investigation and Evidence
Review Process: Players’ Lounge reserves the right to investigate any reports or suspicious activity related to a staked wager, including requesting video clips, screenshots, or other proof.
Outcome Determination: Our decisions on voiding wagers, refunding stakes, or reclaiming winnings are final and based on the evidence reviewed.
5.6 No Liability for Losses
Assumption of Risk: Stakers assume the risk that a Bettor may violate these rules. Players’ Lounge is not liable for any losses arising from a Bettor’s wrongdoing beyond our discretionary refunds or voided wagers as described above.
5.7 Changes to Policy
Notice: This section may be updated from time to time. Continued use of our Staking feature after any updates means you agree to the revised terms
6. Reporting and Enforcement
How to Report: If you suspect any form of cheating, collusion, or violation of these rules, please contact us at [email protected]. Provide as much detail as possible (e.g., screenshots, VOD links).
Confidential Review: We will review all reports confidentially. If we confirm a violation, we may impose penalties without prior notice.
